Restoration of Felons' Voting Rights

Position Statement and Activities

At a press conference held November 2, 2006 in the State Capitol Rotunda, the League of Women Voters of Kentucky announced a new position on the issue of restoration of felons' voting rights.  The released report, "Felony Disenfranchisement in the Commonwealth of Kentucky", presents findings and makes recommendations, including support for a constitutional amendment.  Click on the links to see the 11/02/06 Press Release, a one-page flyer and the complete Report.
