Good Trouble Rally

  • Robert F. Stephens Courthouse Plaza 120 North Limestone Lexington, KY, 40507 United States (map)

In honor of the late Congressman John Lewis, a prominent civil rights and voting rights activist, LWV Kentucky and LWV Lexington are joining a host of organizations for a nationwide day of nonviolent action, rooted in the tradition of the civil rights movement. Join us for speeches on voting rights, information on how you can help, singing, a march, and a vigil. Everything kicks off at the Robert F Stephens Courthouse Plaza in downtown Lexington on Thursday, 17 July, 6-8pm. Please bring walking shoes, your LWV gear, and a sign. Let us know if you plan to come and/or if you want to volunteer by filling out our Google Form

Please note: A core principle behind our Good Trouble Lives On actions is a commitment to nonviolence in all we do. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values
