The LWV KY Legislative Team meets monthly from June-December and weekly when the legislature is in session. We review legislation, promote or oppose bills and issues based on national and state League positions; attend legislative committee meetings in person and/or online; prepare testimony when needed; prepare and send ACTION ALERTS to our members and friends; and plan and conduct an annual League Day at the Capitol, usually in February. League members are welcome to join at any time.
