The LWV KY Legislative Team meets weekly when the legislature is in session (beginning in January) and monthly from June-December. We review legislation, promote or oppose bills and issues based on national and state League positions; attend legislative committee meetings in person and/or online; prepare testimony when needed; prepare and send ACTION ALERTS to our members and friends; and plan and conduct an annual League Day at the Capitol, usually in February.
