LWV of Kentucky works to promote political responsibility through informed and active participation of Kentuckians in government. We may take action on government measures and policies in the public interest in conformity with the principles of the League of Women Voters of the US. We do not support or oppose any political party or candidate.
LWV is open to members of every gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation!
Our name has it’s roots in our history of helping women realize their newly achieved right to vote after ratification of the 19th Amendment, but we are proud to be a diverse and fully inclusive organization!
